I have a 2006 Boston Whaler 255 Conquest with a Northstar 6100i combination GPSr, chart plotter, SONAR, and RADAR. I have a problem with the fishfinder mode. I have a lot of interference. When it is working OK, I don't have a distinct area just under the boat, and my fish never look like arches like they say fish look like on most fishfinders. I have a factory-mounted transom transducer, and I recently cleaned it off, I am still having problems. Does anyone have any problems with the fishfinder mode on the 6100i? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, Dan

If fish finding is important to you consideration of a high quality stand alone digital finder may be useful.
