Can you double up on the original bus on my [2006 Boston Whaler MONTAUK boat]? Should [I] install a new [bus] with more hook-ups? I am installing a depth-finer. [I] just want to make sure [I] do [the depth finder installation] right. Thanks for any input. Stan

If you just need one more connection and a bus is full, there seems to be no reason not to double-up under something else, particularly electronics which have very little current draw.

You can combine several loads to be fed from one branch of a secondary power distribution panel, as long as the total current of that brach does not exceed the rating for the circuit. It is not a good practice to install more than one ring terminal under a binding post, however it is often done. Use an extra flat washer between the ring terminals.
