Does a 2003 Johnson-Suzuki 140-HP engine have a good spot to bolt the Faria brand sensor? I don't see any pre-threaded inserts for a sensor [on the motor]. I looked at the installation directions on [the instructions for another manufacturer's gauge] but the Johnson-Suzuki engines were not listed.

FARIA has a good website, and they are very serious about being in the business of marine instrumentation. I would ask them if their temperature gauge sensor is designed for convenient installation on the engine block of a Suzuki-made Johnson-branded 140-HP motor.

Just got an email response from Faria saying that it should work - so I ordered one. I'll give an update on the installation.
