I have obtained a couple of Trojan Marine RV 24tm batteries. The familiar brown casing may be familiar to some. How did they perform for you? I am planning to connect them to my Merc 150 Offshore systems. Let me know if they were lucky or not for you.

I had two of them. They lasted about 4 years.I would rate them above average

I had bad luck with them hooked up to my single Optimax.
They are storage type batteries which hate to be overcharged.
If you are using them for mostly start type use, consider a "marine" or even a start battery. Also check your voltage regulator, if it doesn't shut the charge level down when the battery is approaching full charge, you will have a short life with a storage type battery.

The 24 TM are dual purpose vented lead acid battery. They may not have the CCA for your Optimax, you need to check. Trojan does not have them listed on there web site, so they maybe discontinued.

mine are six plus years and going strong. Trojan® batteries are the best I have found.
