I have a Raymarine A65 graph/plotter on my 19' Whaler and want to upgrade to a platinum chip. I fish Lake Michigan. Can anybody tell me exactly what chip to buy and where the best place to buy it? I have read all the literature and am still confused at what I need.

My guess would be Navionics chart #646P+

You might want to call Navionics to verify, then you can google it to find a good price.

I get great service from Mariner's Centre in Muskegon, Jan. She and her husband run a small marine electronics business right next to Muskegon Lake. They specialize in marine electronics only, Ray, Furuno, Garmin, iCOM, Fishhawk. She runs the office and store (very small but cool) and he does the installs and field work on every kind of vessel you can imagine.

I bought my stuff from Jan including platinum chip for A57D. She will tell you straight up including when best to upgrade ($50 to original owner). They are a fantastic specialty shop and owners.
