My 2004 LMS 335CDF sonar & mapping GPS unit quit working on my last trip. It would not stay on a page or a command. It would flip to other pages and commands and just keep on beeping and changing screens.

I called the 800 number and was informed that the model was discontinued and they could replace it with a 525 series which would use my existing power, antenna, paddle wheel and transducer cables. The cost would be 364 bucks and they wanted my old unit.

But, before I sent it in, they wanted me to remove my Navionics card and power up the unit while holding the Power and the Pages button down at the same time and wait until hopefully, a map of the United State showed on the screen. It worked and the unit is back to normal.

Thank you Lowrance. This is the second time I have had to use the help desk and both times it is been fast and it has fixed my problem.
