Doing a trailer safety inspection for a up coming long road trip this coming weekend, I noticed that only 6 out of the twelve diodes were illuminated on the port trailer light.

I've yet to investigate but the pipe light above it is operating properly

And ideas of what to look for?

I had some which failed in that way. I e-mailed photos to the manufacturer (Optronics) who replaced them under warranty. There are no "user serviceable parts," as they say, in there. The diodes are soldered to a printed circuit board.
