Author	Topic:   Special spark plug socket needed for F60 spark plug removal/installation?
KeyRat	posted 09-12-2011 06:41 PM ET (US)         I went to replace the spark plugs on my 2007 F60 this weekend and realized that neither my 5/8" or 13/16" spark plug socket fit the NGKs I picked up. I managed to find an 18mm spark plug wrench at a local auto parts store but when I got home I was saddened to find that the socket won't fit all the way onto the plug because it hits some little tab. Has anyone else run into this problem? I read online about a "thin walled" 18mm spark plug socket that guys use on dirt bikes but before I shell out $20 for a single socket I thought I'd post here first. Thanks, Gerrit
