Environment Canada provides continuous broadcast of marine weather on several channels in the "weather" band of your VHF Marine Band radio:

--162.550-MHz (WX-1)
--162.400-MHz (WX-2)
--162.475-MHz (WX-3)

Environment Canada also transmits continuous marine weather broadcasts on two VHF Marine Band channels:

--Channel 21B (161.650-MHz)
--Channel 83B (161.775-MHz)

The coverage of these five channels is usually sufficient that you can receive at least one of them anywhere in Canada near the coasts or in the Great Lakes.
