Ok guys need some help here. I had the CP190 for about 5 years with the Data Card and the detail was excellent no problems ever. I got the bug to have a bigger screen and blow some money. I purchased the CP 390 with the Data Card but after my first use yesterday the detail was lacking.

It seems all I was getting was the already loaded maps the unit comes with out of the box! Any guesses out there on what I'm doing wrong??????

I can't help, but, when I had some difficulties setting up the DSC on my SH VHF I called Customer Support on my cell phone from the boat. The SH support person talked me through the process and everything then performed flawlessly.

I already sent an E-Mail to Standard Horizon regarding the issue, just wanted to see any responses from my fellow CW folks who I think sometimes know more than the Tech guy's! Thks for your input.......

Ok, disregard. I had all the lettering on the screen in the large font which subtracted from the detail. Shrunk the letters and I got back the detail. Happy camper!!!!

Thanks for the follow up. It's always more fun when you can figure it out by yourself.
