Am planning on trailering my Outrage III to PEI this summer probably in August. Its a 14 hr haul for me. Any readers out there who could give me tips on the best area (s) for boating? I have to start thinking about booking accommodation. Would also like to meet other Whaler owners, something I have never done.

If you are driving to Prince Edward Island to go boating you should try and spend a few days cruising the St. John river in New Brunswick, you'll drive right by on your way.
100's of miles of inland fresh water cruising with good accomodations and anchorages along the way. check out these web sites

Our 1997 trip to Nova Scotia (without a boat) was what convinced us we had to get a trailerable boat or else we would never truly enjoy another vacation near the water!
We also loved getting a lobster sandwich at the McDonald in Pictou!

Thanks for answers guys. Somehow never picked them up as I only check on forum posts 10 days back. Have modified trailer to keel roller and bringing it in for installation of hydraulic brakes today.
Girlfriend did not want me to bring boat. Now I have support.
