Anyone interested in a river cruise From Jim Woodruff Dam(which is two miles from my house) to Apalachacola(spend the night at Gibson or Apalachacola Inn) and return. Any Whalers in this area please respond if interested. I think its about a 100 mile trip and it is beautiful. Dennis

I would definitely be interested, but it might me a month or two before I can shake free. How many hours do you think you are from Savannah Ga.?

That's a trip I've been thinking of for a while. I won't be able to go until later on in the summer, but it sound like fun.

dennis,..this is something i've heard of often and not done yet. would this be "you and us guys" or would we be part of the famous group that parties so heartily( hardily?) down to apalach? who puts on that event i'm thinking about?..i was working on the e.side of the river(pickup truck) from torreya st. park to ft. gadsden last tues. and wed....sumatra,estiffanulga..all the neat places of real florida. yes, i definitely would like to do it! i'm 2 hr. east of you near the withlacoochee-suwannee.i'll be listening...lm

I put in at Apalachacola yesterday and went 20 miles out fishing, came back, and rode about 5 miles up the river. Boy was it beautiful. I'm ready to make the trip.
