Summary from: East Manatee Herald 26 June 2001 "Bradenton's Galen Young, 57, will shove off from Ft. Lauderdale today and head to Bimini, the first of some two dozen stops across the Caribbean over the next four to six seeks en route to Venezuela aboard a 13' Boston Whaler powered (and sponsored) by a 40 hp Honda outboard. He will be joined by Knut Wiedemann, 58 of Naples and Clearwater's Charles Zetterberg, 57 in separate boats. They'll island hop from the Bahamas and Great Exuma to the Turks Calicos, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, BVI, St. Martin, Monsterrat, Guadaloupe, Granada, Trindad-Tobaga and finally Venezuela. The biggest stretch of open water they'll cover in one shot is 110 miles." I'll update this if more info becomes available.

Very cool. Do you know if this is the new 13 Sport, or the old Classic 13 Sport? I guess since he's running a Honda that BW is not involved in the sponsoring. What a missed opportunity. |

Thanks! Didn't think they'd have a web page. |
