Any interest in a rendesvous at Kentucky Lake or Lake Barclay (Land between the lakes area, western Kentucky)? I know several whaler owners in the Lexington area. Perhaps in early fall or early spring. |

Great idea! Although we're from Illinois, we've got vacant land on the Lake Barkley side. Just got the 11' Whaler this spring, so we haven't had a chance to explore the Barkley coastline. Great state park in Cadiz, too. Keep us posted! |

Depending on the timing, I would be interested. I live in Dayton, Ohio and wouldn't mind hauling my Montauk down there. |

Hi All: I am not that familiar with the area although I have heard that the state resort park at Barclay is a great place to stay, with plenty of dock space for the boats, etc. I am looking into somewhere to go with the boats, perhaps down toward the Tennesee end of the lake. We're thinking it would be fun to try to take about a three hour trip (flotilla of whalers). Probably arrive Friday evening or so and stay through the weekend. If anyone has any other info about the area, please jump in. I know Jimh made a trip to this general area and there is a write up on it on this website. Keep posting ideas. We have a 17' standard and a good friend has a beautiful 1970 13 he can bring. |

I'm in. Put me on the email chain as it develops. I'm only an hour or so away so I can help with logistics, make calls for folks etc. Ll. |

Hi Landlocked: Glad you are interested. There has not been much expression of interest, however, I think if we get a half dozen or so boats involved, it would be worth doing. Are you familiar with Land between the lakes? Andy |

Very much interested. What about a River Trip? |
| Andy Holmes |
Hi Sam: Yes, I am certainly open to a river trip also. I guess its time to get a "roll call" of those interested in a trip in this general area (Western Ky, Land between the lakes area). Please include the size of your boat, number that will attend, and email address. I will start: Andy |

Hi guys, Sorry- I've been out of pocket since my last post - work/new home purchase. I have been on Kentucky lake but not recently. Usually do the Cumberland river or lakes to the East of Nashville. One great possibility we might want to look at is Parris Landing State Park. Great marina/resturants and cabins and nice hotel rooms avail. I will be attending with wife little girl and 17 montauk. River trip would be an excellent idea. I have a friend with property along the river about midway down the state. I can check with him re: use for camping etc if we want to go that far. Keep me posted. L.l. (Chris Catron) |

Hi, all. We'd be interested (we, too, have property in the region; on the Barkley side, though). There are two of us and alot would depend on the dates. One problem I see is that we've got an 11' with a 15 hp. So it's doubtful that we could run with you all on a river trip. Would enjoy the social aspect of a rendezvous, though. -- LKS |
