Was wondering how many of us Whaler Nts there were in the Coastal North Carolinas and if there were any plans for getting together? I would love to meet up with like minded Whale Owners, I think there must be a 'few' BW owners out there??
Any ideas?

I'm just a couple of hours away in Durham. Our family is especially interested in river exploration.

I'm in Chas. SC but might be interested in a long distance trip! What did you guys have in mind and when??

I didn't actually have ANYTHING in mind....yet. Was seeing how many of us there were about. Any suggestions are gratfully received. I live in Wilmington and have the choice of river or Ocean, slightly spoiled but there we are.
Let me know if an idea comes to mind.

Do you happen to know for how many miles the Neuse and Cape Fear Rivers are navigable? My kids heard that these rivers have suffered from various types of pollution and have an interest in exploring the rivers with nets and trash bags, picking up litter along the way.
