I work for a company just off hwy 95 in Johnston County NC at exit 98 and live near exit 87 just off the highway. For some time now when I am going to work or leaving work I see whalers up and down the interstate either headed North or headed South toward FL. If any of you whaler fans are planing on travling 95 this summer, let me know. I would like to get the chance to meet yall. Or in the plural sence ,all yall. Stop in. If it is for only 5 min. Great place to take a break.

We trailer our 21 Conquest to Florida for the Winter and back again in the Spring. Ours may have been one of the boats you saw on I-95! We won't be making the trip again until December but I'll check the forum again before we go. Maybe we can make a rest stop somewhere near you!

Draftsman's family lives in Eden. Is'nt there a resivoir neer by? I'd love to bring Nanna out in my Whaler. She's a die-hard, takes her 4-wheeler to the mail box everyday, so I think she could handle a day on the water.

Whalertim-

I didn't read your post until just now, but I must have come pretty close to you two weeks ago today when I was hauling Outre' back home from the Beaufort/Morehead City area; we weren't on 95 but we crossed it on 70 heading Northwest. Looks like we would have crossed 95 just about at exit 95. Certainly would have enjoyed meeting up with you. I do intend to get back down that way, so maybe we can do it next time-

You just missed me! It takes me about 10min. to get to that exit. Next time you head that way let me know. Also for any of the folks that are headed to the NC coast in the future, maybe we can meet somewhere for a Pepsi.

Saw 2 whalers headed south yesterday on Interstate 95 in NC. One behind the other. Both were Montauks with Johnson. the first a 70hp, the other a 90. Fishing gear, coolers. Looks like someone is planning a long weekend. Must be nice.
