Key Largo has fireworks in Black water sound, off of the Caribean Club. Gives a nice reflection off the water. Most years its a good show. Also do fireworks on New years eve from the same place.Where else is there a good fireworks show, accessable by boat? Need some thoughts on next years vacation.

Bradenton has about a 45 minute show that does NOT suck. Sarasota is pretty good as well. In Bradenton they blow them off a bridge in the middle of the Manatee river and it is just cool because the water is like glass, etc. |

A couple of areas that I have been to include Jim's area...I lived in Detroit for over thirty years and one of the best fireworks displays is the Windsor/Detroit fireworks. From the Detroit River the view and atmosphere from a boat is fantastic !!Also, the Baltimore area from the River is another great time to be on the water for their fireworks display. The North East River in Maryland is also a nice time to see fireworks...(was married in that part of the country on the Fourth of July...on the water! Celebrate every year. |

A great show was in Harvey Cedars, NJ until it went bad in 98 and people almost got killed. My friends, etc ran the show(as volunteers) and now nobody will do it. Any fireworks on LBI this year? Beach Haven and Barnegat(mainland) are OK. For North Beach....cruise to Barnegat, easy ride. |

Charleston Harbor, South Carolina. While not the biggest of shows, a prudent boater can anchor up on Middle Ground in the Charleston Harbor, and beginning towards the north and going around the compass, view fireworks displays in the following directions: to the north at Patriots Point Maritime Museum, to the east (over the land) on Isle of Palms, to the east/southeast on Sullivans Island, (on a clear night) to the south at Folly Beach, and to the northwest at the City of Charleston. Perhaps not the most spectacular single display, but the head and neck get a good workout tying to keep up with all the displays throughout the points of the compass. Now, just don't tell too many of your friends . . .! |

Where there is good water, there will be fireworks. Its kinda like American Express, its everywhere you need it to be. Have fun where ever you go, just watch out for the smallpox virus mixed into the fireworks! |
