I've booked a suite at the B&B at Rolphs Marina and am kicking around the idea of launching the Outrage at Sandy Point and making trip via Whaler. Isn't it about 3 hours? Gotta get chart out and check distances. The Mrs. is not keen on boating in any kind of chop (like Ches Bay routinely has). How do I convince her it will not be a problem? Anyone interested in mini get-together at Rolphs? http://www.rolphs.bizonthe.net/default.html Kevin

Sounds like a nice idea, I can't make that weekend and my wife feels the same way about the chop. I keep my boat on Ridout Creek just south of Sandy Point. Would love to try to make it to Chestertown, am very interested in hearing how your trip goes. What size Outrage do you have, mine's only an 18, if it kicks up could be 3 hours of major punishment.

I have 1991 Outrage 19. I think total time on open Bay would be only 1 hour or so. Rest of the ride is up the peaceful Chester River. Kevin
