I had noted on my calendar early in the year that there was a Whaler Rendezvous at Sandy Point on October 5,

As time is rapidly approaching, I guess the ball was dropped. Not that I'm volunteering mind you.

But I thought someone with far more energy than I would get this thing rolling.

There are as many Whalers as osprey in the Annapolis area, most of them just must not be on CW.

Long ride up the ICW for a rendezvous. But if you can make it from Tampa, I can make it from Annapolis

Scott-
I cannot make Sandy Point get-together. A family reunion in VA was put together on short notice for same weekend. Have fun! Kevin

Scott,
Weather looks bad up here, how's it sound there for Sunday. As last year I'm willing rain or shine just want to confirm you'll be there before I haul down there from Pa.

Looks like sunny skies and 64 degrees with 10 mph winds... Looks to be a good day for us... Anyone plan on doing any fishing.??? Been a lotta years since I've fished in those waters...

Had a good time yesterday... Aside from the high winds, it was good to meet up with the other Whaler fanatics... Didn't get as much ride time in as hoped, but good time none the less...

The heavy wind got me at the dock though... As I was walking the boat down the dock a huge gust of wind pushed the boat forward and into the dock... The bow hit with such force that it crunched the fiberglass right through the rub rail... Looks like I will be getting some experience using the repair info from this site... Never had damage other than some gel coat chips to deal with before... Lesson learned, next day with high winds have another person in the boat...
