A bit off-topic, I know, but is there anywhere to rent a Whaler in Sarasota now? I used to use Cannons on Longboat years ago. Thanks. David |

Don I will fish with you and leave my beauty at the dock....CLEAN! Give me a buzz with Brian is on his honeymoon that weekend so I have no crew. I may get a different crew if your boat is full or Pat is feeling "frisky". Who else is going and where should we meet? Pat and anyone else can meet me at my house or in the ICW if bringing their boat. Others can meet at my house if going boatless, I know where to go. Nick 941-545-3808 |

I am already registered for the event Don. Not sure what hey want when you register for the tournament but we'll figure it out Friday the 21st. I will be getting there at 4pm being bar opens then I believe. Captain's meeting(mandatory for Don) is @ 7pm. I am then gonna cruise up by boat probably Saturday morning(6am) with Swell if I don;t bring das boot friday. Being we can only catch Redfish(limit 1 per) and Trout, I doubt we will be fishing both days unless we REALLY suck. |

I can bring my ride to work on friday and drop it off when I go to the party. Maybe it would be better/easier to just leave it at home but it is a rendezvous. Actually maybe I will drive it down Sunday morning if we aint fishin. Not a big deal for me to leave at home being it is my area and not as if I gunkhaul down that way. I bet it would be the ONLY Newtauk though. |

P.S. I'll bring a patch kit for Pat's girlfriend. I hear the little NDBF keeps deflating her when he gets real drunk. |

Going to bring the 17 this time instead of the 13'. This way if it's nice we'll fish off-shore. If not, we'll fish in-shore. As long as we get to fish! I'm gathering a collection of the fancy cut glass lenox for Lady Anglers:) 1 more, and I'll need another china cabinet. I'm getting fired up for this event! |

We,re signed up!!! This is gonna be a great one. I plan to come down early to do some tile work for the kids. On Weds. or Thurs. Does anyone know the launching/docking/trailer parking situation yet? Getting the new boat ready for this one is easy. |

Hyatt has ramp and supposably parking for trailer, etc. Janis is gonna verify with Terry on the situation. Marine max is about 5 miles away by land or 10 minutes by boat but from what I gather, it is NOT gong to be held there, just sponsored by it. Makes no sense to me but....? |

posted 04-30-2004 02:06 PM ET (US)
Actually it does make sense being Marine max is a high/dry joint and really does not have ANY parking for boats. It is right on the bigpass? inlet so docking against the seawall is not adviseable. |

Pat, a little senitive today aren't ya? You're right, my comments are off color and in bad taste and I apologize. Didn't think it would get under your skin... As far as "earning the right to tease" I'll let that one pass, it's on par with my poor choice of words today.... See you in May. |

Frank's just teasing ya....you started it by asking if I had an air compressor. Yes I do have an air compressor and assorted fittings and I have a futon or air mattress and a spare room for you. I also have a spare room for Janis and Kim for both nights as well.....the chalet can accomodate! |
