I'm in. How about this weekend? Hah Hah Hah.

Seriously, when are you guys putting in? I figure if we make it thru April 1st without a major snow storm, then the boat will go back into the garage and the Jeep will take up residence in the driveway. Probably by mid/end of April I will have the work done on the boat and ready for warm weather.

Mid May is probable for me. That's a ten minute float for me.

I'm curious as to how many North shore people have their boats in?

I have been out in the Merrimack the past two weekends. Weather has been very favorable. Took a run out to the shoals to pick up a friend last week. Seas were 1 ft - perfect Montauk day.

Anybody else in up here?

What day did you run your Montauk to the Isle of Shoals?

I was outside in front of Seabrook and Hampton on Friday afternoon and I thought it was pretty choppy.

It was Saturday the 5th. We were out the mouth at 6:30, and out on Appledore Island at around 7:00 am. We picked up my friend and came back to the Merrimack and then went out about 4.5 miles to catch mackeral. The ocean was nice and flat - we cruised out at about 30 mph comfortably.

We were fishing inside this past Saturday. 6 hours and not even 1 fish!

I have been hoping to be able to particapate with you guys.If for no other reason to honor my Dad's a boy he would take me fishing at Plum Island at least once a week for pollack, flounder and especially when the blues were running. We would have to park near the CG station and trudge thru the sand carrying all our gear and food etc for seemingly miles but I looked fwd to each and every time. Have not been there in years but l do plan on going there 1 more time and do the walk and stand on the shore and feel that wind and the smell of seaweed on the Black Rocks and reflect on my memories with my father. We saw a lotta boats get in trouble in that mouth of the Merrimac.I can borrow my brother's Nauset and launch near Boston or up to The Isle of shoals maybe as far as Pourtsmouth/Kittery or any where in between. My family is planning a family reunion this summer either in Methuen or Salsbury but the date has not been set yet. lf the good Lord allows and the creek don't rise i plan on being there to visit Dad's resting place and take in a Bosox game and hopefully catch up with you guys and give ya the Florida spin lol.

Hello All:

I am interested in meeting you all at Cranes Beach, I need some lead time as I have to work half the weekends each month.

Let's try to put this together. We go to Cranes from time to time great run over from the Merrimack River.

Blue Skies, ~~~~Pete
