I figured Scott was swamped so I would pull together a list of folks leaving Sandy Point on Saturday to go over to Chestertown for the Tea Party.
For those of you that want to trailer light there is no gas at Sandy Point. Suggested fillup at either the Exxon or WaWa on St Margarets Rd, exit before Sandy Point on route 50.
Plan to arrive at Sandy Point between 7~7:20.
At Scott's suggestion we will use VHF channel 72 on the way over.
If you are launching from Sandy Point respond with the following
Your Name: Kamie
I will have copies of the list for everyone on Saturday.
If you want to want to watch me launch the boat for only the 3rd time I would suggest you get there early. I must say it can be an amusing sight, almost as amusing as the retrieval process.

I plan to launch at Sandy Point around 7:30 on Sat. I'm getting some flack from the family... "Why do we have to leave so early?" and "Do we have to go to Chestertown on Saturday?". So, I may have room for one or two more people. (I have Outrage 19). Let me know if you want to ride with me for the day (returning to SP around dusk, I guess.)

Ill be heading for St Clements Island to pull the Nantucket out of the water(slip) and trailer her back home tomorrow am....be a first getting her out and home by myself with my slowly healing back( a bit nervous)Ill top her out with gas somewhere along the way so Im ready to Trailer her from my home to Sandy Point Sat. morning. If all goes well with her and my back, me and the lady will make it to SP by 7-7:30am Sat. morning. If there is a problem, Ill email Kamie and Scott, but I dont see any at the moment.
I guess my backs a bit ginger and Im concerned about the haul and trailering alone, but short of my back giving out, Ill be there with bells on...could use a bit of help getting her in the water at SP, so when you see a Nantucket pull in, its me and "Das Boat" and I will surely need a bit of help.
Asked the marina owner to get me something for the rig so she slides in easier ...so that may help...
Dont leave without me Kamie:))Ill be there :) Thanks Henry AKA THE YIDDIL

Thanks for getting the list started. There should be more boats meeting everyone at the park.I think about 5 more plus the 320 Outrage. People I have talked to who are not on line.Plan on anchoring out when you get in the harbor.I will have shuttle whalers to get you in and out all day.Stay on VHF CH 72 for Mooring assingments. For I will be trying to get whalers altogether I.E 11s,13s,130s,15s,16s, 17s,170s 18s,19s ect.
This will make the best photo.Right now I have received 54 registrations, and can't count everyone who said oh hey I'll be there.

no problem on starting the list. We will keep a lookout for the other folks at the park. Just remind me not to let my other half get a ride in the 320. That would require a trip to the bank and lots and lots of forms :)
She was all happy one day, came to tell me she went to the whaler web site. I said, did you see a boat you like, she says, yea the nice yellow one.

You must be one heck of a guy as you have odviously won the favor of a lady with excellent taste... The big yellow one is very nice... I think you should go get one, then of course, offer me a ride in it (hehehe)...
Tomorrow sounds like its shaping up to be a fantastic Whaler event... Sortie (1969 Nauset with 85hp Bearcat) is almost as excited about it as am I... See yall at Sandy Point 7:00 (with family in-tow)... Maybe once the wife sees how nice an Outrage is, she'll understand better just how much we really "need" one (hehehe)...

To those who are not on the list, send me an email or post it here. Looks like we got 8 plus the 5 or 6 that are on Scott's list.
See you in the morning.
