I'm going to be in leaving late thursday afternoon for Maine and will there for a week.

I'll be staying in kennybunk, but fish mostly in Wells. I'll have my little whaler for striper fishing in a few of the tidal rivers.

Last year I took my little eleven foot whaler from Wells harbor to Portsmouth harbor and back,I was lucky and got good weather. I don’t plan on trying it again.

If anyone wants to hook up let me know.

I just got back from Kennebunkport.

I took my 20' McKee Craft and launched it from the ramp on the Saco River in Biddeford. The fishing was pretty slow but enjoyable nonetheless. The seas really kicked up outside of the Saco from Old Orchard down to Kennebunkport on Saturday but I managed not to lose anybody overboard. :0

No one catches anything around there, but I do!

Find a small tidal river, troll with tubing lour's with sea worms on the ends when the tide is going out, you'll catch stripers.

I troll on the Mousem river, in Kennybunk port there is a bend in the river when the timing is right I pull a striper out every time a drop a line. They don't let you keep much, but when I do bring some home being my dads been in the restaurant business for almost 30years he knows what to do with it.

The wind really kicks up along the cost in the afternoon, after taking way to many waves over the bow I've learned that if I want to go somewhere far, I leave in the morning and get back on the river by about 2:00, then stay there until dust, when it gets calm again.
