I am planning a trip to the Palm Beach area over the holidays and was wondering if anyone had some advice on:
1. Where to keep my boat on the trailer (23 Conquest)
We will most likely be staying with family, but are considering getting a motel/condo. I have already contacted Sailfish Marina, but they only have 1 slip available for a 55 footer.

Go to the Florida Sportsman forum and find the Palm beach area forum. They can be very helpful at times. Oh what the heck here is the link hope it works.

Sailfish Marina is a real nice place to stay. There is a nice boat ramp on the left as you cross Blue Heron Bridge headed east.
There isn't trailer parking at Sailfish, which has full accomindations for docking overnight; but they have an off-site secured lot inwhich to keep the trailer and have the truck to keep at the marina. Sailfish has docks for larger vessels; and someone in the marina office can probably direct you to the nearest dockage for the size of your boat. As for the neighborhood of the marina; I'd suggest you stay on the east side of the bridge after dark.
Most of the damage in the area from the hurricane's have been/are being cleaned up; and I haven't heard of anything but some unusual shallow water outside the inlet. Assuming you are going off-shore; watch the depth finder.
And most of all; have a great time.

Thanks for the information. We'll be staying at the Cannonsport marina, near sailfish. I think they are rebuilding, but have some spots open. Looking forward to getting out of the midwest winter.
