I'm picking a weekend for an overnight in the Thimble Islands (Connecticut). Anybody else out there that might be going?

Tabasco,
The tremendous interest leads me to believe that this is not a good place for a get together. No beach, among other things. Probably when you think about it, there's no public place to do anything except anchor.

The marina by the gas dock has about 200 Boston Whalers.

IMHO, its the finest location to drop the hook on the shore of the Long Island Sound. I go there at least once a year for an overnight. I come down the Hudson from near the Tappan Zee Bridge vis the East River.

I'm going to go anyway.

Have you sold your boat yet?
Karl
