Is anyone planning on being in the Apostle Islands Memorial Day Weekend?
Depending on the weather forecast come Friday, I will probably drag the boat over.

Glad to see some Northern activity...we have company coming for the weekend, with a small baby sooo we will have to stay closer to home. We are planning an AI trip for 23-25 Jun. It will be our first time boating the islands. We try to keep and eye out for other whalers.

drop me a note as that weekend gets closer. I think we'll be there, but it all depends on kids schedules, weather and the like. Remind me, you have a 15, correct?
I can make some reccomendations of "highlights" I'd be sure to hit. Also, there are a number of different places you can put in, depending on your destination. For example, if you are planning to go to the Rasberry or Sand Island lights or visit the spectacular beaches on York Island, you are probably better off trailiering you boat 10 miles out of Bayfield to the Town of Russell launch at Little Sand Bay, whereas I'd launch a small boat right in Bayfield or perhaps up in Red Cliff if you wanted to go to Stockton or visit the Michigan Island Light.
