Just thought I'd share the fun I had this weekend with the Judge and his lovely wife. I flew into Sarasota for the weekend instead of my usual grind into Gainesville as my better half was pet sitting for the kids on vacation. I arrived Thursday and Nick and I made plans to go for a boat ride on Friday. As usual chores got in the way, so we only hit the water at 2:00 p.m. We made good time down the river with me, Nick, and Ubu the dog. Oh, and a cooler of cold ones. I was duely impressed with the 19 Revenge. A pleasant ride and ran quite well with that new Suzuki 115 on the back. Nick would prefer the 140 but there were none to be found at the time. After a couple of hours of looking at homes and boats that niether of us could afford we headed back to the house. The girls arrived later and Nick and Laurie treated us to a great Italian restaurant near their house. Saturday was a bust for boating but I did hit the chandleries for some wax and little stuff. Funny how I don't always spend $200 every time I go to West Marine now. Maybe next time. We did get to hang out with Nick and Laurie that niht at the Selva Grill in Sarasota. Excellent ceviche and a deer leg ossobuco (venison) were the choices that night. Nick and I were able to sort out the details of my adventure of towing his new/old 13' Whaler back home from New Jersey. I may have to stay overnight at his parents house to sample the Greek and Hungarian dishes that he says his Mom will prepare for me. Hard to take that......

Bring some Tums :)

We always have a good time with you and Sandy. You and anyone else here are more than welcome to swing by anytime. If I would have known saturday was going to be a rain fest, I would have went for a longer ride on Friday...with another beer stop of course. I still have your Coronas, will bring them north when we pick up the "Buz Meg Too" next month. We should organize a little Sante Fe river rendezvous.
