I'm looking for advice on a safe and or secure location to leave my truck and trailer for a week while enjoying a fall Tennessee River cruise. My wife and I will be trailering down from the North and are hoping to cruise the area between Knoxville and Chattanooga.
I've had some problems leaving my rig in the past, hence the concern. Launching closer to knoxville is better then closer to Chattanooga, and proximity to the freeway would be a plus but really peace of mind has no boundaries.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
P.S. We are nature lovers, but my wife still insists on a marina with a hot shower and restaurant meal at days end. Any suggestions for favorite spots, must sees
or other advice would be welcomed.

Where's north for you? Lots of stuff going on around here. My Brother-in-law in Illinois (Rock IS) wants to plan a cruise sometime next year N on Mississip. to a bunch of islands somewhere around Iowa. Not ready to commence planning but on the project list.

Check out Lenoir City Marina next to Ft. Loudon dam. They might be able to accomidate your vehicle and trailer while you tour the river.
