Well, the boat is finally done, and it's much too late to attempt an Isle Royale trip so I thought I might run up to Bayfield for the long weekend.
If anyone will be in the area, let me know.

Dave- Did you make it up? Tried to raise you on the radio.
The weather forcast got it all wrong. Saturday's 3-5 footers turned out to be maybe 2', and Sunday and Monday basically flat calm, and sunny all wekend.

No, I never did--dammit.
It wasn't for lack of effort, though.
My boat has been laid-up all season for hardtop repairs. The repairs were just finished before the Labor Day weekend.
I'm normally thinking about putting the boat away after Labor Day, this year I was wondering how fast I could get it ready.
