Hey just checking if any Lake Lanier / Atlanta folks want to hit the Atlanta Boat Show as a group. Not sure if MarineMax will bring any Whalers but Edgewater by Dougherty will be there. It's fun to see all the boats, get tons of freebies, see expensive houseboats, etc. Last year you even got to try out a Segway on a scooter track.
I do remember it's a good idea to either wear white soled boat shoes or bring some shoes that are easy to take on and off each time you want to board a boat.
I have a post card they mailed me since I went last year. It is good for two free tickets. Otherwise its $9. I don't have a preference on weekday evening or weekend day.
Hours and Dates:
Wed-Fri (Jan 9-11) 11am - 9pm
Sat (Jan 12) 10am - 9pm
Sun (Jan 13) 10am - 6pm

Thanks for the offer but I leave for Tucson, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake next week. After being at the Annapolis, Philadelphia, and Ft. Lauderdale shows the Atlanta Boat show is kinda lame. Would love to see the Edgewaters and Everglades models though. I am more of a Dougherty fan than a Whaler purist. I have no interest in the new Whalers. I think they are too over priced. But I love the classics. My dream boat would be a 350CC Everglades or the Tiara 3200. But right now I love my 20 Outrage.
