I would like to make a trip in my Whaler with some family members up to the Statue of Liberty some time between 6/28 and 7/7. I would love if it if a few local Whalers would like to ride up, snap a few nice pics, share a beer, and enjoy an early summer day. I wouldn't mind the safety and experience of a pod. Any takers? Ed? Joe? Jim? Brian? Others?

Sal, I would be happy to meet up with you sometime. I will be in Hatteras those two weeks with Bella in tow.
I will be online during that time if you make the trip, and would like to see pictures.

We are interested but unfortunately we will be boatless in NJ during that time frame.

Sounds like a great idea unfortunately, the dates don't work well for me. I was checking out the pictures from the other trip and thought it would be something nice to do with my sons. Maybe next time. (I'm also assuming you're talking about weekends, not during the week.)

Did you ever do this trip to NY Harbor?
Sounds like a nice trip...I'd be interested in giving it a shot..where were you planning to depart from?
Which Whaler do you have?

The Habor is unique right now ! Really something to see as there are waterfalls all about the place http://s212.photobucket.com/albums/cc91/71outrage/?action=view& current=waterfall.jpg Went in on Wenesday just to look around kinda scouting for a venue for everyone to mingle after our next cruise.
