posted 04-26-2009 08:34 PM ET (US)         The Smoked Mullet band is having another concert on the water May 23 and 24. Its just South of the Boca Grande bridge. I'll be there most likely on Saturday afternoon. This is an e-mail from the drummer. We are gearing up for the next Party Cove Redneck Yacht Club May Daze Memorial Day celebration on May 23rd and 24th. At this point it looks like at least 500 boats will show up. We have six bands set up to play with Southern Spice, Bandana and the Smoked Mullet Band performing on Sat. starting at Noon. The Caribbean Cowboys, Kenny Rose and Fat Tones performing on Sun. starting at noon. So far we are still looking for sponsors or contributors to help cover the Cost of the bands the barge and miscellaneous expenses incurred to throw the production together. If anyone is interested In helping out you can contact the Mullet Band at 941-759-0087 or at www.mulletband.com. The flyers and posters will soon be going to print so time is of the essence. We are hoping to have a great family time and everyone will be as courteous as they were at the Harvest Moon Celebration in Oct. “08”. Thank You. Terry. Mike
