I have that urge again. I'll be leaving Sacramento around 7 am so I should be under the Golden Gate Bridge around 11 am tomorrow.

I'll be monitoring channel 77. Cell phone 916-952-3333 or email me at wtom95831@gmail.com, I'll check email via Blackberry while on my 170 Montauk.

I hope to run into some of you guys out in San Francisco Bay. I'll have my camera but not my video camera, if you want some action shots of you on your Whaler.

If anyone wants to follow my trip via Google Earth, I'll turn on my gps on my Blackberry tomorrow morning.

1) Go to Google Latitude and download Latitude onto your computer.
2) Go to the Latitude window and enlarge it. Add wtom95831@gmail.com as a friend.
3) I think I have to accept your invitation first, then you'll be able to see my position via Google Earth (Select satellite instead of map view.).

If you do want to follow me, you must be pretty bored!

I have a couple of CW members asking when I might want to make this run again. How many others might be interested in making a Sacramento to Golden Gate Bridge run.

I left here at 7 AM and got back to the ramp at 3 PM. Actual run time was about 7 hours 20 minutes, stop time was a fuel stop and a coffee break.

I ran from Garcia Bend Park (Sacramento) to Gas House Cove (San Francisco) to refuel. It was 93 miles and took 13.02 gallons to fill up or 7.14 mpg. Too bad fuel was $4.26/gallon there.

So if any of you are interested in making a "cannon ball run", let me know and we'll try to set a date.
