Is there any interest in a run from Petaluma to the Golden Gate anytime between now and the New Year?

How about tomorrow around 9 am? Sacramento to Rio Vista (75 mile roundtrip) at a leisurely pace. It's gorgeous weather except it's currently 39 degrees. :-O

I left an hour later than planned at 10 am to let it warm up to 44 degrees. The water was like glass in both directions.
I covered around 70 miles in 3 hours for the round trip.
I wore two sets of Patagonia expedition weight thermo tops with a Mustang Bomber flotation jacket. One pair of expedition weight Patagonia thermo bottoms under a Mustang flotation bib. Gore-Tex insulated gloves and a Cal Bears beanie pulled over my ears. Next trip, I will also wear ear muffs.
I usually stand up when piloting my 170 Montauk but on this trip I sat down and tucked behind my console/windshield.
It was great getting out on the water.
I want to make another run on any weekend before the first of the year.
Rob, pick a weekend....
