Wanted to hit Cape Charles and the CBBT for flounder and Cobia.

I would think it is doable, but I would pick my day(s) carefully. I have only fished/cruised the CBBT area a handful of times – sometimes it was like glass, other times just plain nasty. You could also hit the Chincoteague area…in my opinion, some of the best flounder fishing in the area (The Four Mouths) and a lot more protected.

Thinking about a month from now, usually after the big fish are gone from Chinco. We hit Wacha beginning of this month (May) so I know what you mean. Actually fished 3 out of 5 days at Willis due to wind.
So, how big a rig we talking about to handle that area most of the time ?
