Just took delivery of a classic montauk and
wondering if anyones planning any rendezvous in the South Florida area in the near future?

I'm in West Ft Lauderdale, just real busy right now, Trying to finish my contender in between the rain days and the honey do's. I do not know of anyone that really puts one together down here. Me and my kids usually like to go down to South Miami (Islands) to launch or to the keys when we go out in the boat. If you ever need some help on your boat/whaler let me know I'm in Davie...

Here is a link to my Whaler club in FL. We have not done one in your area in a long while. We do a huge one in the spring in Homosassa Springs. We also should be doing one close to Turkey Day on the Alafia River as well.

Actually we did one in Stuart every year for about 4 years, gotta look into that. I know they stopped it in 2008 due to economy but maybe.....

If a meet is close to Stuart, or somewhere on the Treasure Coast sounds good, I'ld be there.

Finally heard back from Traci @ Boston Whaler. They are "going" to be updating their website with events and boat shows. They are also allowing ME to post my rendezvous on their calendar....how cool!

Boston Whaler sponsors "FishStock" in New Smyrna Beach every year. I do not know why they do not promote this event for a Whaler Rendevous. It's very close to the Edgewater plant. They could make a factory tour part of the event.

oooh...I have NEVER had any luck organizing a rendezvous on a holiday. People ALWAYS have stuff planned unless it is like Columbas day or Arbor day. National play with your dog day is a real biotch!
