jimh	posted 04-02-2013 07:58 AM ET (US)             The best part of the BoatUS magazine feature on Great Lakes cruising was the cover photograph, which was a very nice aerial view of a cottage tucked into a tiny inlet on a small rock islet taken close to sunset, and another aerial view of a group of island in the St. Lawrence presented as a two-page spread. Other than the two photograph, I though the other 20 images presented were very small and not particularly special. The narratives were extremely short. Lake Huron was covered in two paragraphs. I have been cruising Lake Huron for 25 years and I can't imagine how I could describe it in just two paragraphs. When I got the magazine I thumbed through it looking for the cruising information, and I went right past the six pages that covered all the lakes. I got to the back cover and wondered what happened to the cruising information.
