Boston Whaler has updated their web pages with a new look and feel. They are much better than before and easier to navigate, though the photo's are small. On a couple of pages there are small, thumbnail photos of what looks to be a new 2001 model ... 11 foot, maybe. But there's no other reference at the moment. There is an ad in this months Saltwater Sportsman for the new 11' tender. center steering with an inflatable rub rail and an unusual hull design. What is the model advertised by picture only on the whaler web site? the motor is recessed like the flats boats here on the Texas coast. |

I was told it was a 11 foot Impact. A new style Tender. The rubber bladder on the sides would be filled with air but underneath the rubber there is foam.Even if it got punctured it would act and appear full. Ed Stone |

I wondered the same thing and emailed BW. They wrote back that the picture was the stern of the new 2001 12' Impact. |
