We have been extremly busy at work.I haven't had time to do much boating.I took the boat back to the dealer to work out a few small problems.Scratchs on the motor cowlings, some screws missing in the stern seat, one motor would stall because the squeeze ball would not stay primed, paint missing from the dash, small chip in the gelcoat, digital gas gauge not correct, screw missing from the rub rail, misaligned piece of plastic starboard. They have ordered all the parts and I should get the boat back the week of Nov.6. I had custom two color numbers cut to match the boat stripping.I kept the dash at home and cut flush mount holes for stereo, VHF,garmin chartplotter/sounder.I bought a splitter for the VHF antenna to accomodate the stereo.I bought the ss.rachet mount for the antenna.I'm not sure whether to thru bolt the mount or screw into the rectangular tubing on top of the T-top.I'll get another rachet mount for the external GPS antenna. There is a nylon cord going up thru the T-top already to pull antenna wires. There is also a nylon cord going back to the transom that I will pull the transducer cable with. There is a existing hole thru the transom for the smartcraft gauges.I may use the same hole, except the transducer cable has a end on it. As of now the motors have 9.5 hours on them. Most of the time in the intercoastal. According to the speedo I was breaking the speed limit at 43mph at 4500 rpm. Thanks for all the comments, Ed Stone |
