awares	posted 03-19-2001 07:28 PM ET (US)             My 2001 Sport 40hp 4 stroke came with a 15" pitch prop. I am now trying a stainless steel four blade 12". I have not ran it yet. There is several Mercury props to select from. There is several other manufactures also. Contact your local prop shop in your area for assistance if the dealer can not help you. Allen Wares
