cavie	posted 10-23-2001 09:19 AM ET (US)         I am looking to buy a used or new back seat for my 1999 Montack. If someone had a used one for sale or maybe somebody has a good source for a new one. How much room does it take up in the back and how many people can set on it. Help

Dick	posted 10-23-2001 11:56 AM ET (US)             cavie I installed one in my 99 Montauk. It does reduce usable space in the stern but there is plenty of room to walk between it and the RPS. Like whalertim said, my wife loves it too. Happy to send you a picture if you would like. Dick
JFM	posted 10-23-2001 04:40 PM ET (US)             Cavie, There are 2 differen't models. The factory model attaches to the gunnels and has a fold down middle leg. The one I have in my 2000 Montauk bolts to the deck on a metal channel on both sides with wing nuts to take it in or out. I think Whaler has a picture of what it looks like on their web site.
