How does the 23-Conquest handle rough water?. Does it track well? Etc. Thanks, ron

For a boat of this size, I think the cabin is rather small. If you can find one, take a look at a 1991-93 21' Walkaround.

Ron -- appreciate if you would post your question in one topic not under multiple topics. [Moderator's note: I have deleted the duplicate post in the GENERAL topic of the FORUM--jimh] In this case this is where it should be posted -- not under General -- don't fret you'll get your question answered --- Z

Ron, ok I see dgp already pushed you over here from general -- sorry for scolding -- my link above will also give you some additional insight --

Clark Roberts a highly regarded member of the forum has a very close friend with one as you will read in the above link. If your serious about pursuing one think Clark can fill you in from actual testing just like Ed Stone a respected member who also has a relative new one -- good luck ----

I think what is happening with ron is much like what happens to Tigger in one of the Winnie and the Pooh stories. Tigger climbs a tree to get a better view, and when he comes down his pals want to know what he learned.

Tigger tells them, "I am dizzy from seeing too much."

Sometimes all the information on this website can have the same effect on people who discover it for the first time.

Ron ,we have a 21ft Conquest the hull is an Outrage hull as best I can tell. The handeling qualties are excellent,as you will see from many post on this site and elseware about Outrage hulls .When we bought the Conquest the dealer had a 23ft Conquest along side of ours the cabin is the same size, small but very comfortable for two people to sleep over in.I think the interior is exact same size. The cockpit on the 23is much larger. Also front deck is larger than 21 ft model. The dash and helms and companion seat were same as my 21ft.I have been satasfied with my Conquest and would reccomend it as a top quality boat.
