Does anybody have a spec sheet on this boat? In particular I am looking for the weight, draft and bridge clearance.

Thanks Ed. I do appreciate your response. I also got Whaler to send me the spec sheet for their 1991 linup. It reflects a few diff to the specs you gave. Most notably is the weight. The 23 WA was 2650, but the 21 WA was only 1800. I just bought the boat yesterday. 1991 21WA with a 1995 225 HP Merc. Runs good with WOT at 53 MPH with a light load.

As strange as it sounds, I believe Whaler's information is wrong on weight. One of our cruising pals has one of these, probably the nicest rigged 21 Walkaround there is (See Rendezvous section for pictures) and the boat does weigh 2600lbs, no question. His does about 43/44 with a Yamaha 200. That 225 Merc sounds pretty fast, but am I supposed to be surprised!

Congratulations on your purchase. I really like that particular Walkaround model.

lhg and Ed, I think you are correct. The boat feels a lot heavier than 1800 lbs. I pull it with a 1997 4 Runner and believe me, that little Toyota is doing all it can do.

Per Whaler:
Sportfishing Series, 21 Walkaround
Length: 21'0"
Beam: 8'6"
Draft: 13"
Weight: 1800 (I side with you on this one)
Max Weight with pers/mtr/gear: 2550
Peson Cap: 11
Max HP: 250

lhg and Ed, I would also appreciate your help on something else. I just got the boat and need to learn a few things about it. It has so many features that without an owners manual, I am lost. If you or some of your friends have this model I would very much appreciate speaking with them. If you or they would email me that would be great. We can either discuss over email or I will call on the phone. I am not sure what a lot of the switches and and hoses are for. Thank you for your attention.

Both my 1992 and 1993 BW catalogs show the weight of the 21 Walkaround at 2600#. The 23 Walkaround is shown as 4050#, notched tranosm version.

Two visitors to this forum with your boat are "backlash" and "ledfoot".
