Want to get some feedback on the 1995 Outrage. Where I am, they have one for sale, asking $14,000. Boat looks to be in real good shape. Has a 90 on the back, so not so sure about the size of the motor. This would be my first boat purchase, not sure if good deal or not. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions on this?
Comes with trailor...many extra's (cd player, cb radio, pretty clean)
Does $14,000 sound too much...thought I would offer 12K and see how that goes.

Won't set any speed records but should be OK. take for ride....price is right. Make sure it is outrage and not Montauk.

It is definitely an Outrage. Do have a question though. How would one go about putting a trolling motor on this? Can one be mounted to the bow of the boat, even with those rails?

I have one with a 115 Yamaha and top out at 40 mph, faster than I need.
It is the perfect all in one boat. It is a great lake fishing boat, a good calm weather ocean boat, a good ski boat, holds enough passengers to make it a good family boat, and it is safe.
I did not want to interfere with the bow of the boat, so I opted for a trolling motor that fits on the anti-cavitation plate of the outboard. At plane, that trolling moter prop is out of the water. At rest, it is under water ready for trolling. The only downside is the outboard motor is in the water (obviously) when the tm is in use, causing considerable drag. The good news is that kids can steer with the wheel and let dad fish; everyone is happy.
