I have a 1992 16 SL which has a 24 gallon built-in fuel tank. The tank has water in it--apparently from the fuel vent which is on the side of the boat. The tank has been the source of other problems--slow to fill, corrosion problem with the fuel gauge, etc. Has anyone suffered these problems? Any solutions?

Hi, Bas.

Had a similar problem with an OR-18. Pumped most of the water out through the fuel feed to the engine (except to a jug). I then installed a water seperating filter. Problem solved.
