I'm trying to find an hour meter that matches the guages in the 2003 Montauk. I don't have the boat yet or I'd look myself. I also like to do the work myself - that's half the enjoyment. Any help in matching them??..........Jim

Mercury's Flagship line of domed gauges are what seem to be going on most Whalers. They are made by Teleflex, and Teleflex markets their own line, almost identical, called "Premier Pro". You can get them at Bass Pro or Cabela's in the hour meter configuration. I suppose you could also get the hour meter from Mercury, but it will cost you more. These hour gauges are about $45.

I use these domed Premier Pro gauges on my Outrage and like them very much. Cool red nightlighting. Easy to keep clean and don't collect water. However, they call them their "fog-free" line, but that's a lie!
