I have a 1960's Boston Whaler Squall my dads, which I need to sell. I have no idea what to ask for this sailboat and would appreciated any ideas. Thanks, Becky

wrong section Becky, post again on Marketplace with a title like"1960's squall value?" and you will get more action.

I had one and I see them for sale now and then. If you have hull only with no oars or sails, rudder, etc and nno trailer....decent shape up to $400 or so. Add all the goodies and maybe $800-1000. Make it really mint and I have seen them as high as $2000 or so.

Hey, thanks Big Shot for the reply. I thought I should have put the question on the Marketplace forum. Most of all I need someone to love and use this digny like my dad did...it needs the water. Becky

Becky, you are right to ask this question in General. Get your idea of price, then post it for sale in Marketplace.

Bigshot should know better. Some talk, some listen...;-)

Whatever DC but this is in "post classics" they NEVER made a squall after 1990. I personally think asking for a value in Mktplace makes more sense but it is Jim's house.

just joshing, BS.

I'm one of the more frequent offenders; has something to do with me not knowing where I am most of the time.

I know....I saw the smiley face.

I was just stating my disagreement with Jim's rule on that one;)

When I heard about loving and using the little dingy, I thought they were talking about ;)
