I just bought a '98 15 ft Dauntless that has one 6 gallon tank. Does anyone know if pate makes one, or do they have a web site ?

Yes, Pate does make a 15 gallon tank for the Dauntless 15. There's been past discussions on tanks for the D15 too.

I have a D15 and installed the Pate tank in it.

I had fooled around with plastic tanks, a variety of them. No Joy. What kept me from the Pate tank was its price.

I finally knuckled under and bought it. I should have done this from the start. I am very happy with this tank. The installation is neat, it is a nice size tank for my boat (with a 70Hp johnson 2 cycle). I get maybe 10 hours cruising out of it.

I would strongly recommend this tank. Its the best alternative out there. The only complaint that I have is that I think Pate could have gotten another gallon or two out of it by making it alittle longer to take up more room under the seat.

I would also suggest that you buy the outrageously priced mounting kit. With this the tank is very secure.

I just purchased the Tempo F159 tank. It is 15 gallons like the plate, but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I haven't installed it yet, but will soon.

The only thing that bothers me about it is that the fuel guage isn't too accurate, so made some marks on the outside so I can tell how much fuel is left. Then I just shine a flash light next to it and it shows me how much fuel is in the tank.
