I have a 1996 21' Conquest. The non-skid near the anchor locker is spidering. The dealer indicated to me that Whaler won't fix or can't fix the spidering.

Two questions:
1) Is there a coating (awlgrip?) that can be put on the non-skid to improve durability AND make it easier to clean?

2) Does anyone else have problems with spidering in their non-skid?

You can get the antiskid in sheet form from Whaler and some other suppliers. Also I got a CD at boat US called "Fiberglass Clinic" it is put out by a company called DIY there phone# maybe 1-888-658-2628.Also Whaler was most helpful in giveing me direction on antiskid repair. My all time favorite to clean anti skid is Barkeepers Friend avilable at most Walmarts.Hope this helps you.

BW and Gel Coat complaints seem to be common around here. Don't feel bad my 2002 Conquest has two chips on the non-skid walk around area and a an ever growing spider crack on the helm dash. I alerted the dealer we will see what happens in the spring.
