TOPAZ 29	posted 03-29-2003 08:27 AM ET (US)         i just was wondering if anyone has any input on what stainless prop would perform the best on a 1995 outrage 19' with a 150hp johnson ocean runner?the boat currently has the stock aluminum prop any recomendations would be greatly appreciated!thanks,curt

wayne baker	posted 03-29-2003 08:47 AM ET (US)             Topaz I belive the set up you decsribe would probably need a three blade 19 pitch. You could probably turn a 21 but I do not belive you would see that much increase in top end speed mabey one or two mph. The boat's hole shot will suffer greatly. Don't spend too much on a high dollar proformance prop. You do not have a high proformance hull. Just get a good quality stainless prop. I cant help with brand names all of my stainless props are Quicksilver, I have never bought aftermarket.
